Hule Bachmayr-Heyda Nordberg advises S + B Group with the construction of DC Tower 2

The Austrian property developer S + B Group will build the DC Tower 2 on the Donau City site in the north of Vienna. The owner of the property, German Commerz Real, has concluded a general contractor agreement with S + B Group for the second Donau City Tower, which not only covers all construction and planning services, but also the marketing and letting of the building.

The ground-breaking ceremony is scheduled for the second quarter of 2019, the completion is planned for 2023. Commerz Real is investing 170 million euros in the DC Tower 2 – at 175 meters the third tallest building in Austria. The total of 53 floors with almost 52,000 square meters is offering room for retail, restaurants, offices and apartments.

Hule Bachmayr-Heyda Nordberg advised the entire project with lead counsel and partner Dr. Christian Nordberg, Dr. Stephanie Langer (Real Estate) and Dr. Lisa-Marie Unterpertinger (Öffentliches Recht).

In addition to the complex contract negotiations, HBN also advised on public law aspects of construction law, commercial law and the Environmental Impact Analysis Act.
